Our company is looking for an experienced part-time Bookkeeper to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and financial requirements. The position has strong potential to grow into full-time in the future. Black Rock Chemicals works with a broad range of diverse clients, vendors and markets, so the ideal candidate will be an effective multi-tasker who is able to keep a variety of unique accounts/entities organized.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to these bookkeeping functions: invoicing & POs, accurate general ledger entries, AR/AP and tracking bank account balances. Developing monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets. Reporting financial results on a regular basis to management. Knowledge of setting up a business from inception to opening is another strong plus.

Requires at least 2 years experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports. Experience with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office—particularly Excel—is essential. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field.
