Primary Objective:
This position is responsible for providing information, guidance, support and expertise related to Student Financial Aid. Works closely with Financial Aid Advisor and Admissions to assist Future Students in completing financial plan, within established deadlines. Follow Financial Aid program integrity and stay in compliance with State, Federal, and accreditation regulations.

• Grow Aveda Institute as a profitable business through coaching and support of the Administrative team, while maintaining the philosophical standards as established by AVEDA Corporation
• Ensure budgets are maintained, profit goals are met, and the buildings and equipment are maintained ?
• Review evaluations on a regular basis. Design strategies to improve Financial Aid Department for review with Campus Director
• Cultivate an environment where employees respect and adhere to company core values of quality, integrity, and ownership thinking by integrating these values into all programs and practices, developing consequences for violations or non-compliance, and supporting an Open Door Policy
• Identify and recruit top talent
• Track benchmarks daily, weekly, monthly quarterly and yearly
• Recap and analyze business with Campus Director weekly
• Provide on-going recognition, support, and inspiration for students
• Submit licensing requirements and maintain compliance with NACCAS, DOE and state agencies
• Instill AVEDA mission, vision and beliefs ?
• Use Inspired Coaching techniques ?
• Resolve conflict in an effective, confidential and professional manner ?
• Work closely with Admissions to support in achieving enrollment goals
• Review financial aid results with students and provide solutions for remaining balances
• Follow up with perspective students who have toured and track where they are in the enrollment process
• Perform diligent follow-up on FA file completion and complete files within established guidelines
• Accurately note all activities within Sales Force
• Accurately and efficiently answer student questions regarding financial aid and/or remaining balances
• Maintain and regularly audit student Financial Aid files
• Handle all inquiries with courtesy and professionalism
• Work efficiently and effectively with prospective students and their families
• Excellent organization, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Proficient with computers and Student Tracking systems
• All compliance standards are achieved and reporting is complete on time
• Significant internal and external Guest interaction including students, team, student’s family members, guests and salon network
• Coach, process and track LOAs and Drops
• FA audit and NACCAS/VA Audit support
• Travels domestically ocasionally requiring an overnight stay or consecutive overnight stays
• Must not currently be in default on a federal student loan or owe a federal grant overpayment
• May perform other tasks as required or assigned

Minimum Requirements:
• 2+ years of Financial Aid experience
• Proven track record in supervising, inspiring and managing a team
• Budget management
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and direct a large, diverse student body
• Create urgency in completion of FA process, through sharing solutions
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Committed to providing outstanding customer service
